Milan's defense was particularly outstanding, conceding just 28 goals, the lowest in the league. In defense, players like Alessandro Nesta and Jaap Stam formed a strong partnership, while goalkeeper Dida was essential in ensuring a solid defensive record. Their attacking line, led by Shevchenko and supported by Filippo Inzaghi, was also potent, making them a balanced and formidable side. This triumph marked Milan's 17th Serie A title and solidified their place as one of Europe's elite clubs. The 2003-2004 Serie A victory was part of a golden era for Milan, following their UEFA Champions League win in 2003, and they continued to dominate Italian & European football in the mid-2000s. Cafu joined AC Milan in 2003 after a successful stint at Roma. Renowned for his energy and attacking runs from right-back, he became a key figure in Milan’s defense. He won Serie A in 2003–04 and the UEFA Champions League in 2006–07 before leaving the club in 2008. Note: These jerseys are authentic.
