Abercrombie & Fitch Fierce Eau de Cologne is a generous 200ml woody-aromatic fragrance for men — and one of the most recognisable scents in modern designer perfumery. Sharp citruses, fresh sea notes and herbal greens give way to a polished woody-musk base, capturing the brand's signature American casual confidence. About Abercrombie & Fitch Fierce Fierce was launched by Abercrombie & Fitch in 2002 and quickly became synonymous with the brand itself — the fragrance you could smell from outside the storefront, sprayed liberally throughout flagship locations. Composed by master perfumers Christophe Laudamiel and Bruno Jovanovic, Fierce combines the projection of a designer eau de toilette with a refined, slightly aquatic woody-aromatic structure that has aged into a true modern classic. Fragrance notes Top: fir, lemon, orange, sea notes, petitgrain, cardamom Heart: rosemary, lily of the valley, jasmine, sage, rose Base: musk, vetiver, oakmoss, Brazilian rosewood, sandalwood How it wears Fierce opens with an unmistakable sea-spray cologne accord — sharp lemon, orange and petitgrain mingle with cool sea notes and dry fir for a clean, slightly outdoors first impression. The heart turns aromatic and lightly floral, with rosemary and sage adding a polished masculine character against the soft floral lift of lily of the valley, jasmine and rose. The dry-down is smooth and refined: oakmoss, vetiver and Brazilian rosewood combine with sandalwood and clean musk for a long-lasting woody-musky finish. Who it's for Fierce is for men who want a confident, instantly recognisable everyday signature — fans of woody-aromatic perfumery, those building a versatile fragrance wardrobe for the office, gym and weekends, and anyone seeking a designer cologne with strong projection and longevity. Its clean, slightly sporty character makes it equally popular as a first "real" cologne for younger wearers and a go-to bottle for long-time fans. How and when to wear it This is a true year-round, day-into-evening fragrance, particularly well suited to spring and summer when the citrus-and-sea opening really sings. Despite its eau de cologne concentration, Fierce is known for unusually strong projection — so a lighter hand goes a long way, particularly in close-quarter settings like offices and lifts. Spray two times onto the chest, neck and inside the wrists.
