It is ideal for running a variety of appliances, from sensitive electronics like laptops and medical equipment to larger loads such as small fridges, power tools, and microwaves, provided their combined continuous power consumption does not exceed 4000W. The 8000W surge capability helps accommodate the higher startup current of inductive loads. For optimal performance, ensure your 24V battery bank has sufficient capacity to meet the inverter's demands and the expected runtime of your appliances. Using a 24V system generally allows for thinner cabling compared to 12V systems for the same power output, contributing to a more stable and reliable setup. Typical Applications Application Description Motorhomes & Caravans Powering domestic appliances and electronics on the go. Boats & Marine Vessels Providing shore-like power for onboard comfort and navigation systems. Off-Grid Cabins & Sheds Enabling mains power in remote locations without grid access. Backup Power Systems Emergency power for essential appliances during outages. Mobile Workstations Powering tools and equipment at job sites or outdoor events. Built-In Protection Functions This Photonic Universe inverter incorporates multiple safety features to protect both the unit and your connected appliances. These include automatic shutdown for over-discharge • overload • overheating • short-circuit. Additionally, it features a low battery alarm (23V ± 1V DC), low battery shutdown (21V ± 1V DC), and high voltage shutdown (31V ± 1V DC) to safeguard your battery bank. Common Questions What is a pure sine wave inverter? A pure sine wave inverter produces an AC waveform that is almost identical to the electricity supplied by the grid. This makes it suitable for all types of AC loads, especially sensitive electronics, medical equipment, and appliances with motors, which may not operate correctly or efficiently with modified sine wave inverters. What type of battery is required for this inverter? This inverter requires a 24V DC battery bank. It is compatible with various 24V deep cycle battery types, including lead-acid (AGM, Gel, Flooded) and lithium (LiFePO4) batteries. Ensure your battery bank has sufficient capacity (Ah) to support your desired power consumption and runtime. Can this inverter power all my household appliances? This 4000W inverter can power most standard household appliances up to its continuous power rating of 4000W. For appliances with high startup surges (e.g., refrigerators, pumps), the 8000W peak power capacity can help. Always check the power consumption of your appliances and ensure the total continuous load does not exceed 4000W. How do I use the remote on/off switch? The inverter comes with a remote on/off switch and a 5-metre cable. Simply connect the remote switch to the designated port on the inverter. This allows you to conveniently turn the inverter on or off from a distance, which is particularly useful when the inverter is installed in a less accessible location. Installation Notes Ensure adequate ventilation around the inverter to prevent overheating. Connect the inverter directly to your 24V battery bank using appropriate gauge cabling. Always observe correct polarity when connecting DC input cables. Install in a dry, protected environment, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Refer to the user manual for detailed wiring diagrams and safety instructions. Before You Buy Verify the continuous and surge power requirements of your intended appliances. Confirm your battery system is 24V DC. This inverter is not suitable for 12V or 48V systems. Consider the total capacity of your battery bank to ensure sufficient runtime. Professional installation by a qualified electrician is recommended for safety and optimal performance. Review the full specifications and user manual for compatibility and installation guidance. Please verify all specifications and compatibility requirements before purchase. This product is covered by a 1-year warranty.
