This extension cable is designed for all Photonic Universe SL-series solar lighting kits, including models such as SL-8W, SL-15W, SL-25W, and SL-MP3. Can I connect multiple 10m cables together? While technically possible, extending cables excessively can lead to voltage drop, which may reduce the efficiency or brightness of your lighting system. It is generally recommended to use the shortest practical cable length for optimal performance. What is the purpose of the 5.5/2.1mm DC plug? The 5.5mm outer diameter and 2.1mm inner diameter DC plug is a common standard connector size used in low-voltage applications. This ensures a secure and compatible connection with Photonic Universe solar lighting components. Installation Notes Ensure all connectors are clean and dry before plugging them in to maintain optimal conductivity. Route cables safely to avoid tripping hazards, kinks, or potential damage from sharp objects. Secure any excess cable to prevent strain on the connections and ensure a tidy installation. While plug-and-play, always verify correct polarity if adapting for other uses to prevent damage. Before You Buy Confirm your existing Photonic Universe solar lighting kit uses 5.5/2.1mm DC connectors for compatibility. Measure the required extension length accurately to ensure the 10m cable meets your needs without excessive slack. Consider the typical current draw of your lighting system; a 0.75mm² cable is generally rated for up to 6 Amps in low-voltage DC applications. Evaluate the environment where the cable will be used to ensure its flexibility and durability are suitable. Please verify all specifications and compatibility with your specific Photonic Universe solar lighting system before purchase. Specifications are subject to change.
